Indiana University Honors Program in Foreign Languages (IUHPFL) announces that it has eliminated its fall language testing requirement for high school applicants. Students will be selected to participate in IUHPFL based on an evaluation of their application dossier – which includes a personal application (essay questions), teacher and other adult appraisals, a parental assessment, a writing sample in the target language, and high school transcripts. In addition, a thorough assessment of each student’s proficiency levels in the language conducted by their World Language teacher, along with strong personal attributes, will help determine a student’s readiness for IUHPFL.
