My daughter stayed with a wonderful, and active, family! I couldn't have been more pleased with her placement. There were five kids that went to Graz from her high school. They all traveled to Germany on an exchange program the year before, so they knew each other very well. However, she made so many new friends with this trip to Graz. They continue to talk to each other on a daily basis, and would like to plan a reunion very soon!

I think she felt some instructors were better than others, but got along well with all of them. As for the one hour of communication, I was lucky if I got 5 minutes! I knew she was okay, because I saw pictures of her in the team blog. I knew that if she was having a good time, she wouldn't contact me much. I was fine with that, because I could see she was having the time of her life!
